Just in case your curious, engadget has posted a “casualty report” from the war between HD DVD and Blu-ray. It appears that there are something like 1.3 million customers with the now useless HD DVD hardware, whether it’s a computer drive, an Xbox 360, or a recorder.

Either way I’m sure there’s a lot of people that are pretty upset right about now.
