I stumbled across a post on BoingBoing.net today which pointed to a page containing a lifelike rendering of a women who follows your cursor around the screen. According to Cory Doctorow who posted this it was designed by a Brazilian design firm. The technology appears to be Flash based, though it could just as easily have been developed in just about anything and exported as a .swf file type.
While this is impressive, it’s also not new. I’ve seen this done before, the difference of course is the realistic rendering of human facial expressions. In addition to the lifelike expressions creating a mysterious looking women helps drive traffic to the site. Way to go with the bloodshot eyes!
