Encyclopedia Britannica Might Be Free, Or Not

If you “write a lot” on the web and you would like to have a chance to read Encyclopedia Britannica for free (something that you can already do with wikipedia) than go submit your URL and they just might consider you a publisher!

I agree with Michael Arrington at TechCrunch, this is a dying business and will eventually be free anyway. If you submitted your URL and you aren’t what the folks at Encyclopedia Britannica consider to be a “publisher” than don’t worry, soon enough you’ll have full access when they are forced to switch their business model.

Bloggers and anyone who publishes online will be able to embed articles into their posts as a reference to support their content, oh and I almost forgot this article will link back to Encyclopedia Britannica’s website.
